It’s the 143rd day of the year. Okay. Nothing.
Kins and I had an early dinner yesterday before watching Robinhood. We had a deep conversation regarding our future work. He would always say that because of this internship he suddenly wanted to become an Auditor so he’s planning (okay we’re planning) to take CIA and CFE exams.
So I asked him what kind of work he wants, he answered that. Then his turn to ask me… “So in what field do you want?”. I answered him with a question “Is it okay if I’ll work in a magazine instead?”. He doesn’t have to think twice or should I say I don’t have to hear the answer. It would always be no. I get it. I would just put my 4 years in college in waste.
So okay, I want to be me. :)
“Looking good and dressing well is a necessity. Having a purpose in life is not.” – Oscar Wilde
He always know my needs and my wants. And this is the latter.
Preview and Cosmo magazine is a regular buy.
But the 100 distinct magazine? Hmmm..
Let’s get a little closer:
Of course the name’s not there for nothing.
And don’t you think Daphne Osena is soo pretty here?
I regularly follow her blog. You should too!
Grab one for Love!
There are two things I love about Fridays:
It’s the company’s dress down day.
Except for the trainees/interns.
So, I still dress up :)
Borrowed pink sunglasses
Get Laud white puffed top Kins bought me
Bib necklace (my current favorite!)
Checkered bag from Ate
Black high waist skirt (I have 4. Different designs but all black!)
2-inch-black stilettos (I bring flats too!)
It’s hangout-day with friends at greenbelt after work!
You know… I love them all to bits!!!
Glad there were so many of us last Friday. Even Zac and Alvin came. Thanks! :)
Can’t wait for next Friday again!
Blogging here at my workplace while sipping a cup of mocha courtesy of my bosses. I’m like in a huge refrigerator. Gee! I easily get cold. It would make me sick because once I step out of the office, I’ll feel the scorching hot of Manila again.
But I’m in both reality anyway. I wanna get out of here. Can’t wait for 5:00pm. I’m too sleepy. Had a little battle of minds with kins late last night.
But I wanna go shopping first before heading home. I have nothing to wear anymore. And for me, repeating clothes is a SIN! =))) jk. Kins says otherwise though.
And oh, I know Ina would kill me (hi there!)… but for my first voting experience… my president won.
Seize the day! :)
Getting ready. Equipped with sunglasses and water for the heat.
Today, I’ll be part of history.
On the way with dad and mom.
The least I have expected! No queues at all.
Immediately directed on our precinct.
Looked for our number at the door.
Registered. Thumb mark. Voted. Inserted my ballot at the PCOS machine.
Then have my indelible ink at my right finger.
That easy. No hassle at all.
I wasn’t allowed to take photos but I got to sneak some.
That’s dad still voting. Making sure he shades the circle rightly.
For me, this first automated election is quite successful!
That would entitle me to have my C2 at 711 and ministop for only P10
and Buy One Take One at Subway. My favorite drink and sandwiches! :)
@iamtimyap An indelible mark on a finger to remind us of what our forefathers fought for–the freedom to choose our leaders.Bravo,Filipino! A great day
@DirekJoey The voting is over, the counting has begun: no more colors to distinguish us from our loyalties. We return as the people of a single nation.
A responsible citizen votes.
If you cannot vote because you’re too lazy to register or you just don’t care..
Please, don’t complain whoever gets to be appointed.
